Trauma sensitive environments – feeling safe at school - child

We briefly consider the impact of traumatic events child learners experience. We discuss the symptoms that can be experienced (e.g. anxiety, bullying others, aggression) and how they impact on learning.

The focus is then on establishing a safe learning environment in the school and what educators can do to achieve that environment.
